2. About our services

Lantern provides one-to-one structured literacy intervention and tutoring for students with dyslexia. This is an educational service. It is not medical, psychological, diagnostic, or therapeutic care, and nothing on this site is a diagnosis of, or treatment for, dyslexia or any condition. Information on the site is general and informational and is not professional advice. Consultations and tutoring services, once engaged, are provided under a separate services arrangement; these Terms govern your use of the website itself.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

Learning outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including a student’s individual circumstances, consistency of participation, and support outside of sessions. While we are committed to high-quality, evidence-aligned instruction, we do not promise or guarantee any specific result, score, improvement, timeline, or outcome. Any examples, testimonials, or descriptions of progress are illustrative and are not a guarantee that you or your child will experience the same results.

4. Scheduling and communications

Our website lets you contact us and request a consultation. Submitting a form or booking request does not create a tutoring relationship; it is a request that we may accept or decline based on fit and availability. We may contact you using the information you provide in order to respond.

5. Intellectual property

The content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and the Lantern name — is owned by Lantern Academic Interventions, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the site for your personal, non-commercial purpose of learning about and engaging our services. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful information, or another person’s information without authorization;

You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Lantern Academic Interventions, LLC regarding your use of the website, and supersede any prior understandings on that subject. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a sale or transfer of the business. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation of these Terms.
