Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Lantern Academic Interventions, LLC is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is central to who we are: our work supports students with dyslexia, and we want our website to reflect that commitment in how it looks, reads, and works.

Our conformance status

We have designed and built this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

We believe our website substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Substantially conforms” means we have followed these standards closely throughout the site, while recognizing that, despite our best efforts, some content may not be fully conformant at all times. We are committed to ongoing improvement, and we welcome your feedback so we can continue to make the site better for everyone.

What we have done

In building and maintaining this site, we have worked to make it perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. Among other things, we have aimed to provide:

  • Clear, readable typography using accessible sans-serif fonts and comfortable text size and line spacing;
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background, avoiding pure-white backgrounds where a softer tone improves readability;
  • Text that can be resized and a layout that reflows without loss of content or function;
  • A logical heading structure and reading order;
  • Keyboard access to interactive elements, with visible focus indicators;
  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images; and
  • Plain, well-organized language with generous spacing and clear navigation.

Several of these choices reflect dyslexia-friendly design practices, consistent with widely used guidance, because they help the families we serve and benefit all visitors.

Known limitations

We work hard to make every part of our site accessible, and we are not aware of significant barriers at this time. Even so, some content may not be fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA at all times. We treat any accessibility issue that is reported to us as a priority. If you come across something that is difficult to access, please tell us using the contact details below, and we will work to address it and to provide the information or service you need in another way.

Third-party content

Some features of our site rely on third-party services (for example, our appointment-scheduling tool). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we choose providers with accessibility in mind and will help you find an alternative way to reach us if you encounter a barrier.

We welcome your feedback

If you have trouble accessing any part of our website, or you have suggestions for improving accessibility, please tell us. We take this seriously and will do our best to respond promptly and to provide the information or service you need in an accessible way. Contact us at hello@lanternacademic.com. Please describe the issue, the page or feature involved, and how we can best reach you. We aim to respond within five business days.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time task. We review our site periodically and consider accessibility as we make changes, so that it continues to meet WCAG 2.1 AA and serves all of our visitors well.
